Burn Relief® cools by evaporation and convection. The 96% water, gel-saturated, non-woven polyester composition of Burn Relief® draws heat away from the injured area. This provides the cooling effect which can last up to 8 hours! (Dependent upon ambient conditions).

Easily applied, Burn Relief® comes in a variety of convenient sizes to meet the requirements of emergency burn management.

As a solid, gelled water product, Burn Relief® is not wet or messy and does not absorb wound exudates. Burn Relief® does not leave residue on the skin nor does it contain anti-microbial agents that may require flushing which could delay follow-up Emergency Room treatment.

Burn Relief® Fire Blanket… are you prepared?

Where quick action is required to smother a small fire, or escape from a burning area, the Burn Relief® Fire Blanket is ready for instant use.

The 96% water, gel-saturated non-woven polyester composition, 50” x 72” (127 cm x 182.9 cm) sterile blanket protects like a “sheet of water!” The non-woven polyester is fire resistant and the gel saturation allows the Burn Relief® Fire Blanket to withstand temperatures up to 2000°C (3568°F) for several minutes. This makes the Fire Blanket a valuable, lifesaving rescue tool.

For patients with large area burns, the Burn Relief® Fire Blanket provides an immediate cooling effect to the burn area while reducing the burn progression and helps to protect the patient from infection during transport to the hospital. The cooling effect can last up to 8 hours. (Dependent upon ambient conditions).
